Museum of Satire and Humor
The witty words of Gyumretians are now immortalized in the signs guiding visitors to the recently inaugurated Museum of Satire and Humor. The brainchild of this creative endeavor is Sargis Azaryan. In a city with a rich comedic history, it’s only fitting that Gyumri, the humor capital, has a dedicated museum for satire and humor, especially considering its past establishment, the “Humor House,” in the era when it was known as Leninakan. As Mher Mkrtchyan once humorously noted, “A person may not have a sense of humor, but that is also a matter of humor.” For inquiries or more information, you can contact the museum at +374 (98) 67-57-35.
